Grafters Gym – Member Summary of Key Terms
This is a short summary of our Terms & Conditions. Please refer to the full Terms & Conditions for
full details. By using Grafters Gym, you agree to these rules.
- All memberships are 12-month contracts (payable monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, or yearly).
- Membership fees are non-refundable except as required by Irish law.
- Student memberships require valid proof of full-time education – misuse may result in transfer to standard membership.
- Rate may change with 30 days notice
- The Gym uses facial recognition for access. No cards or fobs are provided.
- Members must follow health & safety rules and use equipment responsibly.
- Treat staff, members, and facilities with respect – abusive or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Lockers are for temporary use only. All belongings are left at the owner’s risk. The Gym is not responsible for theft or loss.
- Members use facilities at their own risk. Consult a doctor before starting any new exercise programme.
- Membership may be cancelled by providing 30 days’ written notice.
- The Gym may update T&Cs; with notice – continued use means acceptance of changes.
- Anyone aged 16 or under is not allowed to access and train in the gym.

Grafters Gym – Terms & Conditions
1. General
These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs;”) govern all memberships, services, and use of facilities provided by Grafters Gym (“the Gym”). By signing up for a membership, booking services, or using our facilities, you agree to abide by these T&Cs.;
2. Memberships & Payments
All memberships are 12-month fixed-term contracts, payable by one of the following options:
– €55 per month (paid monthly for 12 months)
– €145 every 3 months (paid quarterly for 12 months)
– €265 every 6 months (paid bi-annually for 12 months)
– €485 per year (paid in full in advance)
Memberships automatically expire at the end of the 12-month contract unless renewed.
Membership fees are non-refundable, except as required by Irish consumer law.
The Gym reserves the right to amend membership fees and structures. Members will receive at least 30 days’ notice of any material changes.
Existing members on rolling contracts will be transitioned to the current membership structures.
Continued use of the facilities after notification of the updated terms will be deemed acceptance of the new membership conditions.
3. Student Memberships
Student memberships are only available to individuals in full-time education.
Valid, current student identification must be presented at the time of joining and renewed annually.
The Gym reserves the right to revoke student memberships immediately if valid proof is not provided or if membership is misused. In such cases, members will be moved to the appropriate standard membership at current rates.
4. Access Control
Grafters Gym uses facial recognition technology for member access. Membership cards or fobs are not provided. Members consent to the use of this system as part of their membership agreement.
5. Suspension & Termination
The Gym may suspend or terminate a membership without refund if:
– Fees remain unpaid
– A member breaches these T&Cs;
– A member engages in unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive behaviour
– Any evidence of theft, physical/verbal harm/abuse
The Gym may suspend access temporarily for maintenance, improvements, or events. Reasonable
notice will be provided where possible.
6. Health & Safety
Members use the facilities at their own risk.
Members confirm they are fit to exercise and accept responsibility for their own health.
The Gym strongly recommends seeking medical advice before beginning a new exercise programme.
Members must follow staff instructions and posted safety rules at all times.
In case of an emergency, members must follow evacuation procedures.
7. Code of Conduct
Members must treat staff, other members, and facilities with respect.
Proper gym attire and footwear must be worn.
Equipment must be used correctly and returned after use.
Members must clean equipment after use.
Any behaviour that is aggressive, abusive, unsafe, or constitutes verbal or physical intimidation will result in the immediate suspension or termination of membership.
8. Facilities & Services
The Gym reserves the right to change opening hours, timetables, or class schedules.
Certain facilities, classes, or equipment may be restricted, booked in advance, or subject to additional fees.
Lockers are provided for temporary use only. The Gym accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings. All items are left in the Gym at the owner’s sole risk.
9. Liability
The Gym does not accept liability for injuries sustained while using facilities, except where directly
caused by the Gym’s negligence.
To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, the Gym excludes liability for:
– Loss or theft of personal property
– Indirect or consequential losses
Nothing in these T&Cs; excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Cancellation by Member
Members may cancel their membership by giving 30 days’ written notice.
No refunds are provided for unused membership periods unless required by law.
Cancellation is only valid when confirmed in writing by the Gym.
11. Data Protection
The Gym processes personal data, including facial recognition data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Irish Data Protection law.
Member data will be used only for managing memberships, access control, safety, and communication.
12. Changes to Terms & Conditions
The Gym reserves the right to update these T&Cs; at any time.
Members will be notified of material changes in advance.
Continued use of facilities after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated T&Cs.;
13. Governing Law
These T&Cs; are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
